Covid-19
We are committed to bring positive change at the Grassroot level. With the onset of COVID – 19, Matrutva seva Sansthan ,with financial support from various projects, has distributed 1500 Ration Kits and over 10,000 masks among rural communities in more than 40 Panchayats of Rajsamand and kherwara Block of Udaipur District. These photos are a testimony of our contribution and commitment during this pandemic.
In response to COVID-19, Matrutva seva Sansthan’s Cloth Pad Unit has been stitching face masks & PPE kit. These are made of cotton cloth. Our women’s group have been stitching these masks & ppe kit from their own places. We supplied these masks & ppe kit to nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, banks, offices and individuals.
Matrutva Seva Sansthan took an another initiative too : many we know, were helping out migrants with food, water, and ration kits, but no one was providing sanitary pads for women. The campaign aimed at raising funds to provide hygienic reusable sanitary napkins to women. We wanted to provide reusable cloth napkins that are biodegradable because they can be used multiple times, and do not harm the environment since they are biodegradable. We provided almost 600 sanitary napkins to a welfare Society, which is making kits inclusive of food and sanitary pads for the migrant women.
